Lillian J. Taylor

Lillian J. Taylor, 79, of Kingston, died Tuesday at home. She was the wife of the late Edwin A. Taylor Jr. Born in Bessemer, AL, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Evelyn (Johnson) Sturdivant. Mrs. Taylor worked as an attendant for MHRH State of RI for twenty eight years before retiring. She was a longtime member of the First Church of God and it’s choir. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and country music. She was the loving mother of Cynthia Taylor, Edwin Taylor III and his wife Loribeth, and Helen Taylor, all of Kingston; sister of Norma Johnson and her husband Nick of AL; grandmother of four and great grandmother of two. The funeral will be Friday at 11:30 AM in the First Church of God, 209 Allen Ave, Peace Dale. Burial will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
